Answer WhatsApp customers from your phone.

The AI handles most chats. When one needs a person, your phone buzzes, you open the chat, and you reply with text, a photo, a PDF or a voice note. No laptop, no WhatsApp Web logging out. Free for your whole team on every plan.

Version 1.3.1, downloaded directly while the Google Play listing is on its way. On a computer? Open tendabot.com/android on your phone. iPhone app coming soon.

What you can do

The inbox, in your pocket.

See who needs a person first

The inbox opens on Needs you, longest wait at the top, with each customer's number under their name. AI answering and All are one tap away, across every bot and workspace you belong to.

Reply the way WhatsApp does

Send text, up to ten photos and videos at once, PDFs and other documents, or record a voice note and listen back before sending. It arrives in WhatsApp as a real voice note.

Hear every voice note, read every transcript

Customer voice notes play in the chat with the transcript underneath. Photos open full screen, videos play inline, and PDFs open or share from the chat.

Take over, hand back, resolve

Take a chat from the AI with one tap and hand it back when you are done. Resolve or snooze it. Saved quick replies and approved templates are there when the 24-hour WhatsApp window has closed.

Alerts you choose

Each person decides what buzzes: a customer who needs a person, a message in a chat you are handling, or every new message. Mute a bot, and set quiet hours when only urgent chats get through.

Good to know

Made for replying, not for setup.

Setup stays in the console

Bot instructions, knowledge, broadcasts, billing and template writing live in the console on a computer. The app is for talking to customers.

Messenger and Instagram are text-only

Files and voice notes go to WhatsApp and website chat. On Messenger and Instagram, the app sends text replies.

Questions

Before you install.

Is the Tendabot app free?

Yes. It comes with every plan, for everyone on your team. Replies you send from the phone count the same as replies from the console.

Why is it an APK and not on the Play Store yet?

We hand the Android app out directly while it is new, so fixes reach teams the same day. Android asks once to allow installs from your browser. A Play Store listing comes later.

Is there an iPhone app?

It is on the way through TestFlight. Until then, iPhone users can reply from the console in Safari.

Do I need to reinstall when the app changes?

No. The app downloads improvements by itself and shows a Restart button when one is ready. A new install is only needed on the rare occasion the app gains a new phone capability.

Why am I not getting notifications?

Open Settings in the app and check what buzzes: by default only chats that need a person and chats you are handling. Turn on "Any new message at all" for everything. On Samsung and Xiaomi phones, set the app's battery use to Unrestricted so alerts arrive when the app is closed.

What happens if I lose my phone?

Sign it out from Profile, then Signed-in phones, in the console. The phone loses access straight away.
